Opis
Public diplomacy. Education of the society on disinformation: Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia, edited by Prof. Arkadiusz Żukowski, is a result of the cooperation of researchers from various Universities in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia during a project carried out as a part of the Public Diplomacy 2024 competition, organised by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
The publication consists of three parts, each tackling one of the following key topics:
Theoretical background to the essence and challenges of public diplomacy.
Faces of disinformation, including qualitative media analysis of pro-Kremlin media.
Issues of research and education on disinformation.
The Authors’ primary aim was to present general and specific knowledge on disinformation. It was essential to provide the Readers with both theoretical background and practical case studies. The book is also intended to be a voice in the global discourse and hopes to inspire further research on disinformation.
