My name is Theresa Collier, I am 43yrs old. I was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania and lived there up until I was 8yrs old and now live in Conshohocken, Pa. I have been writing poetry since my teenage years and have been continuing to do so ever since. I never thought my poetry would ever be published in a book and it makes me feel like I accomplished something wonderful in my life. I chose the title Speaking From The Heart because all of my poetry comes straight from my heart. Every experience I have had in my life, I have written a poem about. It is my way of expressing myself when I find it hard to express my feelings verbally. Most of the poetry I write is about love/loss. Though, it all depends on what I am feeling at that moment. Everyone has their own way of expressing their emotions. All you need to do is just find what works for you and just go with it.
