To write with a constant attention to the limited understanding or information of children; to restrain a lively imagination, and employ a mind capable of the most brilliant pursuits on subjects of a puerile kind, seems to be a sort of heroic sacrifice of gratification to virtue, which I cannot doubt is acceptable to the Supreme Being.<br><br>We have, in the present age, many striking examples of this kind.
