Publikowane obecnie piąte wydanie tłumaczenia uwzględnia ostatnią nowelizację Kodeksu, która obowiązuje od 3 sierpnia 2009 roku. Nowelizacja ta dotyczyła m.in. zmian w organizacji walnego zgromadzenia spółki akcyjnej, w tym wykorzystania środków komunikacji elektronicznej do oddawania głosów. Ta i wcześniejsze zmiany Kodeksu, uchwalone po ukazaniu się poprzedniego wydania tłumaczenia, wdrażają do prawa polskiego szereg dyrektyw Parlamentu Europejskiego i Rady.
This book, published as part of the new series of translations of Polish acts of law into English, German and French, includes the English translation of the Commercial Companies Code. This fifth edition of the translation includes the latest amendment to the Code, in force since 3 August 2009. The amendment concerned i.a. changes in the organization of general assemblies of joint-stock companies, including the use of means of electronic communication to cast votes. This amendment, together with earlier changes to the Code, adopted after publication of the previous edition of the translation, implement into Polish law a number of Directives of the European Parliament and of the Council.
